p>Great Rail Journeys has launched its Worldwide Holidays By Rail 2012/ 2013? brochure featuring three new tours to new destinations for the operator ? Kerala & Exotic Southern India, Ecuador and Sri Lanka.
The? new destinations have been introduced due to demand for the operator?s special brand of ?safe? tours to more adventurous locations and the brochure is a collection of worldwide holidays by rail exploring six continents.
The operator has also expanded the range of unescorted extensions which can be added to its holidays at the end of the tour. They include a nine-day extension to the Ecuador: The Avenue of Volcanoes tour which is a seven-night cruise around the Galapagos islands and includes a daily programme of excursions including island visits, land excursions ? such as a visit to the Tortoise Reserve at Cerro Colorado, boat rides and guided walks.
Overall, the brochure features a total of 40 tours with various departure dates between this August and December 2013, with a lead in price of ?1,338 per person for the seven-day Fjords of Norway tour.
