The new Severn Valley Railway break promises a host of tailored offerings to bring joy to everyone this festive period.
On sale through Just Go! Holidays and National Holidays, the two-day ‘Christmas Carols on the Severn Valley Steam Railway’ itinerary includes a picturesque journey through the Worcestershire and Shropshire countryside, plus guests will be welcomed onto the platform with mince pies, mulled wine, a brass band and a visit from Santa.
Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at JG Travel Group, said: “Steam train journeys are always hugely popular with our customer demographic and it’s great that agents have this new festive option to sell. We’ve previously sold the Severn Valley Railway during the summer months and it always sells out, so I am sure that this new option with its festive twist will prove just as popular.”
Prices for the two-day tour begin at £179 per person, including return coach travel from selected pick-up points across the north of England, one night’s B&B accommodation, a trip to the Birmingham Christmas Market, and the festive train journey.
