The guide?can be accessed via Online Travel Training and the operator has also?teamed up with Accredited Travel Professional (ATP), an ABTA membership which recognises the qualifications and experience of those working within the industry to award agents who complete the modules. Agents must also make a single booking with the company before June 30?to gain the benefit and on completion of the course agents will collect eight ATP points. ?To?qualify for the programme agents need to have one year's travel experience and NVQ2 or two years experience if they do not have an NVQ. The benefits of a year's ATP membership include a range of discounts at High Street and online retailers such as Boots, Amazon and Argos.
ABTA business development manager, Vicki Wolf, said: ?We are thrilled that Affordable Car Hire is working with ABTA Travel Industry Partner OTT and have opted to have their new online training programme recognised by ABTA?s Accredited Travel Professional Scheme.?Continuous professional development in the industry is key to maintaining high standards in the travel industry.?
