The rail tour operator’s flash sale has been extended until August 18th to meet the immense demand for last-minute holidays.
According to data beginning July 1st, almost 54% of Railbookers’ bookings were for departure dates in the latter half of 2023. 60% of those holidays booked were for July, August or September departure, with the most interest centred around Switzerland, Italy and France.
In response to the demand, Railbookers have extended its flash sale until August 18th, meaning travellers can still save up to £500 on any itinerary. In addition, agents who book their clients on any Railbookers’ holiday departing in 2023 will receive a gift card up to £100.
President and CEO of Railbookers, Frank Marini, said: “The demand for last-minute bookings in 2023 is unbelievable, even as we head towards the final few months. More than half of our trips booked in the last six weeks have been for travel in 2023. With inventory on the train, hotels and sightseeing activities available, we make last-minute bookings easy for our travel agent partners and their clients.”
The Railbookers gift card incentive provides agents with a £100 gift card for every 10-night or more booking they make for 2023, £50 for seven- to nine-nights and £25 for three- to six-nights. All departures must be for 2023.
