Five-star rating for Travel Counsellors

Travel Counsellors has gained a top rating for its travel insurance products, Premier and Premier Plus, for the second consecutive year, following enhancements to the levels of cover. ravel Counsellors has gained a top rating for its travel insurance products, Premier and Premier Plus, for the second consecutive year, following enhancements to the levels of cover. The five-star recognition comes from independent financial research company, Defaqto. Improvements to the cover and compensation includes: extended length of winter sports breaks covered; increased hospital benefits and increased delayed personal belongings and missed departure compensation; access to First Class single trip policies requiring no medical screening; and cover for travellers up to the age of 89. The company?s sales director, Malcolm Hingley, said: ?We are delighted to gain a five-star rating for the second year in a row, confirming our focus on excellence. We use the Defaqto ratings as a benchmark when developing our travel insurance products, ensuring our travel insurance products meet the same high standards as the rest of our service.?
