MARKETING GREECE has welcomed the news that the opening hours of 30 of the country?s most popular ancient sites and museums (www.culture.gr), which account for 95% of total site and museum visits, will be substantially extended as of April.
p>MARKETING GREECE has welcomed the news that the opening hours of 30 of the country?s most popular ancient sites and museums (www.culture.gr), which account for 95% of total site and museum visits, will be substantially extended as of April.
Aimed at enhancing the visitor experience in Greece, opening hours will be 08:00 to 20:00, which will prove especially convenient for cruise ship passengers who follow a strict time schedule when touring the country?s sites.
This is the first in a series of further interventions that will follow this year, which will include the installation of Wi-Fi network, the design of mobile virtual tour applications and the launch of an e-ticketing system for entrance to Greek museums and archaeological sites.
The 30 sites and museums are now open daily until October 31.
