City of Dreams Mediterranean celebrated its opening in Limassol on July 11th, with a host of guests and partners in attendance.
The resort's gala opening was attended by Cyprus' President, Nikos Christodoulides, hosted by Lawrence Ho, chairman and chief executive officer of Melco Resorts & Entertainment.
Opening its doors to the public on July 10th, 2023, the President celebrated the resort's opening: "A one-of-a-kind integrated casino resort that stands as testament to our commitment for progress and excellence, being – at the same time – a catalyst for economic growth, job creation and the attraction of visitors from all over the world."
City of Dreams Mediterranean aims to redefine Cyprus as a year-round destination, becoming a reference point for the region's entertainment and hospitality industry.
The 14-storey luxury property offers 500 rooms and suites, MICE space, an outdoor amphitheatre, a family adventure park, and a number of fine dining and luxury retail outlets.
