Visitors can also observe and help preserve local heritage and handicrafts by visiting local communities and participating in folk festivals and handicraft skills.
Other tours offer visitors the chance to visit elephant sanctuaries, learning about their behaviour and interacting with them at feeding times and joining in with elephant baths in the river.
