p>easyJet spokesman Andrew McConnell, said: "As a result of significant snowfall across the UK and parts of Europe, easyJet, like many airlines, is experiencing continued disruption today. Inverness Airport remains closed until further notice.?
Gatwick Airport is open, but delays of up to 60 minutes can be expected.?
Bristol Airport has re-opened, however 7 of the 10 easyJet aircraft based at the airport were diverted to alternative airports yesterday evening whilst the airport was closed.
As a result of the closure, further cancellations may occur at Bristol today.
Madrid airport has just re-opened, but delays of up to 5 hours can be expected.
The disruption has been further exacerbated by the French Aviation Authorities who have imposed flight restrictions upon us at Paris Charles De Gaulle, therefore we are experiencing more delays and cancellations from Paris than we would have hoped for.
We sincerely apologise to customers who have been affected by this disruption, and are doing everything we can to minimise the delays and cancellations. easyJet continues to stress to passengers to check the easyJet.com website to ensure their flight is not cancelled before going to the airport.
If their flight has been cancelled the airline requests passengers do not to go to the airport instead make the refund request or arrange the transfer online. Passengers should be aware, given this is a busy time of year, there is little availability over the next few days, so passengers whose flights have been cancelled today may not be able to transfer on to flights for a few days.
However going to the airport to make alternative arrangements is not recommended as the airports particularly Bristol, Gatwick, Madrid & Paris Charles De Gaulle are very busy."
