The brochure offers a range of tailor-made options throughout southern and east Africa, with a new 13-day tour of Ethiopia among the highlights.

An Addis Ababa round-trip, which costs from ?3,320 per person, takes in Gondar, the Simien Mountains and Lalibela, and? features the source of the Blue Nile, 17th century castles and historic churches.

Also new for next year is a range of options designed to cater for the growing number of consumers looking for authentic local experiences and to explore new or lesser-travelled areas. These include a seven-day private mobile camping safari in Tanzania, which costs from ?2,341 per person and an eight-day Mount Kilimanjaro climb from ?1,415.
