Drayton Manor Theme Park in Staffordshire is offering guests more value for money this summer following its recent increase in size by 40% and the introduction of a host of new rides and attractions.

These include Sodor Airport, which features balconies that offer ?jet-setters? unrivalled views over Thomas Land and beyond, and its own Sodor Coffee Shop. There are also Thomas & Friends themed event rooms, which will open in summer.

The park is also celebrating its 65th anniversary this year, with carnival-themed events taking place throughout the year, as well as the little blue engine celebrating his 70th birthday this month.

Also new for the 2015 season, Yogi Bear will be entertaining fans in the 4D cinema, while Ben 10 fans can enjoy a ride on the Ben 10: Ultimate Mission rollercoaster.

For thrill seekers there?s the adrenaline-inducing Apocalypse, which was voted the UK?s scariest ride by Channel Five?s ?The Gadget Show?, stomach-churning Maelstrom and stand-up coaster, Shockwave.

The 2015 season runs until Sunday November 1, closing with the 65th Anniversary Firework Spectacular over the last weekend. The park will also open its gates for its Magical Christmas experience on selected dates from November 21 ? December 31.
