Diamond Holidays launches new break to Wales

Diamond Holidays has introduced a new four-day break for 2016, taking in Snowdon, Anglesey and Puffin Island.

The exploration features a journey on the 120-year-old Snowdon Mountain Railway where, upon returning from heights of more than 1,000m above sea level, guest can discover Snowdonia National Park, the village of Betws-y-Coed and the pass of Llanberis, where twin lakes cut through the mountain range in an area noted for its spectacular scenery.

A cruise to Puffin Island provides the opportunity to spot an array of wildlife, with the uninhabited island being home to as many as 12 species of seabirds including guillemots, kittiwakes and puffins. A colony of grey seals can also be seen on the east end of the island and bottlenose dolphins and harbour porpoise have been spotted in the surrounding waters.

Guests will then have free time in Beaumaris, famed for its 13th century castle and visit the village with the longest name in Britain, Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.
