REGENT HOLIDAYS has launched its first Iceland and the Arctic Winter brochure to mark its 40-year anniversary, which features trips across Iceland, Greenland, Finland and Northern Norway for 2015/16.
The programme in Iceland includes new accommodation, such as apartments in Reykjavik from ?500 per person for a three-night stay, with breakfast included and based on up to six sharing a two-bedroom apartment.
Alternatively, a stay at Hotel Grimsborgir gives guests the chance to explore South Iceland, and each apartment offers a private hot tub and access to a gourmet restaurant, with prices from ?995 for a five-day break with car hire.
Meanwhile, the Minniborgir Cottages, a group of 21 chalets within the Golden Circle, provide guests with the chance to watch the Northern Lights unaffected by light pollution. Prices start from ?495, based on up to six sharing and including car hire.
Alternatively, in Finland, a five-day 'Lapland Igloo and Ice Hotel break' features two nights in an igloo, snow-mobile excursions and ice-fishing, and is available from ?1,249 including transfers.
'Santa's Aurora short break' is also being highlighted, with prices from ?1,130 including transfers, where guests experience husky safaris, reindeer sleigh rides and snow shoe hikes.
