A new 11-day Rivers of West Africa cruise gives guests the chance to explore the lesser-known fishing villages, national parks, craft markets and historic river towns of Gambia. Prices lead in at ?2,595 per person and there is an optional extension to a beach resort hotel in Senegal after the cruise.

The operator is also promoting a 12-day Congo: Rainforest Safari from ?6,895 which stays in the exclusive Wilderness Collection camps in the rarely visited Odzala-Kokoua National Park.
