Commercial cooperation between Olympic Air and Meridiana Fly

Olympic Air (OA) has entered into a code-share agreement with Meridiana Fly (IG), giving more flexible options to passengers travelling between Italy and Greece.

Olympic Air will provide tickets on selected routes operated by Meridiana Fly. These routes will be operated by Meridiana Fly?s aircraft and crews.

 

Similarly, Meridiana Fly will provide tickets for routes operated by Olympic Air. These routes will be operated by Olympic Air?s aircraft and crews.

The code ? share agreement will become effective from August 16, 2010.

Meridiana Fly (IG) serves 87 destinations: 48 international (Europe and regional countries), 32 national and seven transcontinental, with renewed aircraft fleet, which consists mainly of Airbus A320s , A319s , A330s , MD82 and ATR42.

Olympic Air (OA) is a new airline, registered in Greece, emerged from the acquisition of formerly state-owned flag carrier of Greece, ?Olympic Airlines?, by Marfin Investment Group, in April 2009. Olympic Air started operations on September 29, 2009, carrying over the name and logo of ?Olympic Airlines?.
