The Midcounties Co-operative Travel has committed to a guaranteed contribution from every holiday booking to the sustainable tourism charity, the Travel Foundation.
p>The Midcounties Co-operative Travel has committed to a guaranteed contribution from every holiday booking to the sustainable tourism charity, the Travel Foundation. For bookings taken since the beginning of last month the company will donate 50p per booking to the charity and its overseas projects.
The Travel Foundation funds and manages more than 30 projects in 16 destinations worldwide, showcasing best practice in efforts which improve the well-being of destination communities, protect the environment, and enrich the tourism experience.
The initiative with be additionally supported by a ?1 opt-in scheme, whereby customers will be asked to donate ?1 to the charity on all holiday bookings.
