Cardiff Airport adds more flights to winter 2014 schedule

Cardiff Airport has added more flights to Barbados and Jamaica, as well as a dedicated flight in search of the Northern Lights.

Two further chartered flights from the airport have also been added to the P&O Cruises Winter 2014 Caribbean fly/cruise schedule.
The new flights depart from Cardiff for 14 nights on February 28 and December 6. After joining the cruise ships in Barbados, passengers will visit Grenada, St Lucia, Dominica, St Kitts, St Maarten, Tortola, Curacao and Bonaire, before catching their direct flight home to Cardiff. Prices lead in at ?1,399 per person.
Holidaymakers will also be able to join Thomson Cruises? platinum ship, Thomson Dream, in its new home port of Montego Bay in Jamaica directly from Cardiff. The line?s winter 2014/15 schedule offers a selection of itineraries visiting ten new ports of call in destinations such as Mexico, Panama and Costa Rica, with 14-night cruises leading in at ?1,619 per person, based on two adults sharing. The first flight from Cardiff departs on December 23.
The Northern Lights flight departs on November 19 and costs ?199.95 per person. Passengers will be guided through their voyage in search of the natural phenomenon by professional astronomers who will share folklore legends as well as their knowledge of the skies.
