Cambridge welcomes new services from Darwin Airline

Cambridge Airport has announced the launch of scheduled services with Darwin Airline to Amsterdam, Paris, Milan and Geneva.

The services will be operated in code-share partnership with SkyTeam member Alitalia and will commence on September 2, with a total of 50 flights a week to and from Cambridge.

This will include a planned timetable of 24 weekly flights to and from Amsterdam; 12 weekly flights to and from Paris CDG; eight weekly flights to and from Milan Malpensa, and six weekly services to and from the airline?s main hub at Geneva. All routes will be operated by the airline?s 50-seat SAAB 2000 regional aircraft.

Customers of the airline will be allowed 23kg of complimentary hold baggage and flights booked via the Alitalia code (AZ) will also be part of the Flying Blue reward scheme that is applicable across SkyTeam member airlines. Rates lead in at ?119 per person one-way and ?159 return.

Meanwhile, the airport has unveiled a newly refurbished terminal, featuring a new business lounge, Costa Coffee and complimentary Wi-fi.
