Blue Safari Seychelles announces re-opening of Alphonse island and Cosmoledo Atoll

Blue Safari Seychelles has announced the re-opening of Cosmoledo Atoll and Alphonse Island, two protected tropical paradises in the heart of the Indian Ocean.

The COVID-safe destinations are secluded to give guests an experience of freedom and flexibility while exploring the islands.

At Alphonse Island and Cosmoledo Atoll, your guests will get the opportunity to traverse the pristine areas with a group of marine biologists, environmentalists and crew. Every member of staff is trained in new operating procedures and educated in proper hygiene practices while ensuring social distancing measures are in place.

All the guests are required to provide a negative PCR test from an accredited government certified laboratory within 48 hours before departure and have valid travel insurance with full medical coverage, including COVID-19 cover.

To get there, all domestic flights have been scheduled and tailored around BA flights from the UK. Flights take place once a week, ensuring that the islands remain COVID-free. Alphonse Island is only a short one-hour flight from Mah? where your guests will land.

The idyllic Cosmoledo Atoll is situated over 1,000km from Mah? - a 90-minute plane journey from the mainland of Mah? and an additional 90-minute boat trip from the Astove Atoll.

Your guests can experience the fascinating marine environment on a first-hand basis as they swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean and encounter shoals of assorted, vibrantly coloured fish of varying species: green and hawksbill turtles, spinner dolphins and humpback whales, all in their natural environment.
