The hotel group has announced a string of new openings for 2023 as it continues to grow its portfolio globally.
Barceló has already celebrated two significant openings this year with the Canfranc Estacion, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, and Barceló Funchal Oldtown. Barceló Hotel Group’s portfolio will continue to grow and evolve throughout 2023 and into the start of next year, including new openings, grand refurbishments and re-openings under the Group’s management.
Notable openings include the Barceló Warsaw Powisle, Poland, which opened this month and occupies the former Elektrownia Power Station; Barceló Fortina, Malta, which will open its doors this July close to the ancient walls of Valletta; and Occidental Eden Beruwala, Sri Lanka, scheduled to re-open under the Group’s management later in the year.
Other destinations in which Barceló will be opening hotels this year include the Maldives, Benidorm, Granada, Lanzarote, Slovenia, Cape Verde and Morocco.
