p>Avalon Waterways? suite ship, ?Expression? took part in the recent celebrations for Holland?s national holiday ?King?s Day? on April 27.The Grand Parade, a naval review featuring a number of historic and modern ships sailed past King Willem-Alexander and the Dutch royal family as well as local crowds at Dordrecht in the province of South Holland.
To join in the celebrations during the sail-past, all the passengers aboard the ship were given orange T-shirts to wear by the Dordrecht based shipyard Den Breejen, responsible for building all the line?s suite ships in the fleet.
Avalon Expression will sail the newly introduced 8-day ?Charms of Holland & Belgium? cruise for departures during 2016.
Next year will see two suite ships added to the fleet; Avalon Passion and Avalon Imagery II bringing the total to 12.
