American Queen Voyages publishes first trade-dedicated brochure

The brochure highlights the company’s iconic paddlewheel steamboats and features four itineraries brand new to the UK market.

For the first time, Light Blue Travel, UK & Europe representative of American Queen voyages, has released a trade-dedicated brochure, featuring itineraries across the USA’s Deep South and the Pacific Northwest.  The brochure also showcases four brand new cruises on the Upper Mississippi and its tributaries.

The new cruises include a nine-day itinerary on the Upper Mississippi, a selection of nine-day tours through America’s Heartlands of the Ohio and Tennessee rivers, an eight-day Portland Roundtrip on the Snakes and Columbia rivers, and an optional four- five- or nine-day New Orleans Roundtrip on the Lower Mississippi.

Light Blue Travel’s commercial director, UK & Europe, Michelle Daniels, said: “Up to now cruises on the Lower Mississippi between New Orleans and Memphis have been the most popular with UK travellers.  Cruise and US specialist agents will be pleased that they can now offer something different – especially to their loyal repeat customers, who may have previously cruised the Lower Mississippi.

“The Upper Mississippi and its tributaries, as depicted in Mark Twain’s novels, bring a changing lush landscape, combined with small-town America historical towns and sites, alongside famous cities such as Nashville, St Louis and Minneapolis.”

Prices for the all-inclusive cruises begin at US$2,771 per person. The brochure can be viewed and downloaded through American Queen’s UK travel partners resource portal.
