American Cruise Lines has announced new Christmas and New Year?s Eve cruises.

As examples, ?Southern Christmas? is offered on Historic South & Golden Isles Cruises on December 21 and offers excursions including an oyster roast on the beach at Sapelo Island, a tour of the Ritz Carlton?s famous gingerbread houses on Amelia Island, a tour at the Jekyll Island Club, the Charleston Festival of Lights and a holiday d?cor mansion tour in Charleston.
A ?Cajun Christmas? tour is offered on Lower Mississippi River Cruises and also departs on December 21, with both Christmas cruises featuring gingerbread house- and ornament-making, Christmas cookies served throughout the cruise, a Christmas carol sing-along and gifts for guests who are 18 or under.
Meanwhile, an ?Old Fashioned New Year?s Eve? itinerary is offered on Historic South & Golden Isles cruises along the Lower Mississippi River and departs on December 28. The tour features a fireworks display over Savannah and lights tours at Oak Alley and Houmas House Plantations along the Lower Mississippi River, while on board a New Year?s Eve dinner will be served, with entertainment and a midnight countdown with a Champagne toast.
Other festive cruises include Thanksgiving and Hanukkah.
