Air Europa has commenced twice-weekly flights to Santa Cruz, Bolivia from Gatwick via Madrid.
Colin Stewart, UK General Manager of Air Europa said, ?We are delighted that this new route is now underway. Bolivia had not been sufficiently connected to the European traveller and now Air Europa offers the perfect gateway to this exciting, upcoming and highly dynamic region?
Flights from Madrid to Santa Cruz will use the new Airbus 330-200, while passengers on the Gatwick to Madrid connection will be flown in the Boeing 737, which replaced the Embraer 195 earlier this year, increasing capacity by 120 seats a day.
The new route to Bolivia complements the airlines existing services across South America and the Spanish Caribbean including Buenos Aires, Argentina, Caracas, Venezuela, Havana, Cuba and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
