Agents away with the Faroes says Sunvil Discovery

Sunvil Discovery is pleased to report that it has seen plenty of interest from agents in its new Faroes programme.

Rachel Jelley, product manager, said: ?It?s not somewhere that immediately springs to mind as a holiday destination so we?re very happy and somewhat surprised that agents and their clients have expressed so much interest. Places for the fam trip we?re hosting in August were snapped up like hotcakes and we?re now oversubscribed.?

The operator launched its new Faroe Islands programme, featuring a small range of properties in June. Nestling within the Gulf Stream in the North Atlantic, this unique archipelago, located roughly midway between the Shetland Islands and Iceland, offers appeal for nature lovers, birdwatchers, walkers and those who like to get off the beaten track.

There are 18 islands in total, and Sunvil Discovery is offering accommodation on Streymoy, the largest of the Faroes, Eysturoy, famed for its towering sea stacks and scenery, V?gar and Bordoy.

It recommends one or two-centre stays and exploring the archipelago by car making use of the network of roads, undersea tunnels and inter-island ferries.

Prices lead in at ?618 pp (two sharing) for a three-night stay at the three-star Hotel T?rshavn including flights and transfers.
