Advantage Travel Partnership heads down under with Tourism Australia team-up

The joint partnership campaign will support the drive to increase Australian holiday demand and availability.

Advantage Travel Partnership is coming to say G'day as it teams up with Tourism Australia. The joint campaign, which is already underway, delivers a wide-reaching selection of activities to boost Avantage members' destination know-how, with dedicated trade training, content, and marketing tools to generate new Australia enquiries and bookings.

Select Advantage agents will also have the chance to head down under for themselves on the 'G'Day Australia' mega fam trip taking place in October.

Four key activations will serve as tentpoles of the six-month campaign, coinciding with Tourism Australia's 'Come & Say G'day' promotion. These activations span training, agent awareness building, direct-to-consumer activities, and marketing content.

David Forder, head of Marketing at The Advantage Travel Partnership, said: "The whole structure of the campaign has been built around providing our members with end-to-end support, from increasing their destination knowledge, through to helping bring new high-value customers to their business who are looking to travel to Australia.

"As part of this campaign, we’ve already had great success in engaging our agent community to complete the Aussie Specialist Training Programme, which will set our members on the right path to helping them provide an exceptional service to customers looking to travel to Australia."

A key aspect of the campaign includes the dedicated Australia consumer magazine produced by Advantage for its member agents, which launched last week.

The Advantage intranet now hosts a dedicated campaign hub, showcasing all agents need to know about the partnership and every possible avenue that can be taken to increase Australian bookings.
