p>Advantage Travel Centres is offering potential new Leisure and Corporate members a 48-hour trial membership package.

Recognising that holding the 2009 Conference in the UK (18-20 September) provides an opportunity to showcase services to potential new members, Advantage is extending its member conference package price to independent agents who currently sit outside the Advantage membership.

With a package price starting at ?125 to include access to the entire conference programme and events as well as one night?s accommodation at the 5-star Radisson Edwardian Hotel, London Heathrow, the official venue for the conference, Advantage believes it is an opportunity not to be missed.

Commenting on the non-member package, John McEwan, chief executive of Advantage Travel Centres said he really wants agents outside the group to fully appreciate what Advantage has to offer.

He added: ?In this challenging economic period, it is critically important independent agents get the highest level of support from their chosen consortium. However, unless you physically move from one organisation to another, you never really know if you are better off and all consortia claim to offer the best set of member benefits.

?Holding our conference in the UK gives a real opportunity for agents to experience life as an Advantage member for 48 hours, and let them judge for themselves. For as little as ?125, they have access to all the conference sessions and events but, as importantly, it allows them to informally meet Advantage members and business partners to hear things from their point of view. Indeed, many of our members have come to us from other consortia and can offer a personal comparison.?
