ABTA's 2023 event lineup aims to support staff and business development

ABTA has announced its event lineup for the first half of 2023, with a range of high-quality conferences and training days on the roster.

The programme is designed to keep the travel industry up-to-date with its knowledge and skills of the sector, and will provide insights and advice from key specialists and leaders in the field. Special focus will be given to business development recovery in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic and how to respond to emerging changes and challenges.

ABTA’s training events will focus on developing skills for new and existing staff in order to overcome the challenges in recruitment currently sweeping the industry, and allows companies the opportunity to present how they are investing in the development of their staff.

The events are open to the entire travel industry with reduced rates available to ABTA Members and Partners. A 10% discount is also on offer for all event bookings made before February 3, 2023, using the code JANUARY23.

ABTA’s head of Events, Eve Coburn, said, “In the ever-changing landscape of travel, there has been a huge demand for learning and development as the industry continues to evolve and emerge from the pandemic.  We have taken on board the feedback from Members, and this year, we have introduced a diverse schedule with mix of events and training sessions designed to develop and upskill travel professionals in this new era of travel.”
