Inghams has issued its 2016/17 brochure dedicated to Snow Adventures above the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway.
In addition to existing Lapland Winter Wonderland weeks and Norway itineraries, the new brochure introduces the Northern Lights Adventure Weeks in Lapland where guests have the opportunity to stay in the secluded Muotka Wilderness Lodge near Saariselk?. Also new is the Vester?len Wildlife Adventure in Norway which includes a whale-watching trip.
Prices for a seven-night stay at the Muotka Wilderness Lodge from December to March, with direct, non-stop flights from Gatwick, Manchester or Bristol lead in at ?1,579 per person on a full board basis, departing on January 8, 2017, based on two sharing. As part of the price, free overnight Aurora Cabin accommodation is available for guests staying between January 8 and 28.
As well as the new tour, the popular ?Arctic Fjord Adventure? and ?Polar Express Adventure? tours have been retained. These include a high-speed RIB-boat safari, a scenic rail journey into neighbouring Sweden, husky-sledding, food from the Fjords, plus a visit to Norway?s Polar Wildlife Park, where guests can get up close and personal with a wolf.
The ?Arctic Fjord Adventure? and ?Polar Express Adventure? are both available in three or four-day versions or can also be combined into a full week?s holiday. There are five departures in February 2017, with prices starting from ?899 per person for the three-night Polar Express Adventure, including direct, non-stop flights from Gatwick to Evenes, transfers, four-star hotel accommodation on half-board and daily guided excursions with lunch and entrance fees.
