To celebrate the return of our direct trains between London and Amsterdam, we’re giving away three pairs of Eurostar Premier tickets. Having launched the route in 2018, it was time to take things to the next level. Over the last year, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes at Amsterdam Centraal to bring travellers a brand new cross-channel terminal which is bigger and better than ever. Now it’s up and running, we’ve opened our doors and brought back direct trains between Rotterdam, Amsterdam, and London. The state-of-the-art terminal, located in one of Europe’s most historic stations, offers a transformed space for passengers to kick back and relax before their journey. It’s designed with sustainability in mind and centred around a few key concepts to make departure even smoother:
Most importantly, our new terminal allows us to welcome even more passengers on board with more than double the capacity we had before. We can now carry 650 passengers on departures from Amsterdam to London. This helps us meet the increasing demand for high-speed rail travel between the two cities and connects more travellers to other destinations in the Netherlands. We’re starting with three daily direct trains to get things rolling. Customers can go direct from city centre to city centre in around 4 hours and 12 minutes in one of three comfy travel classes.
