Turkish Airlines heats up summer schedule with more UK departures

The airline is bringing the heat to its summer schedule this year with additional flights from the UK and Ireland ready to take travellers to the vibrant city of Istanbul and beyond

Starting today, the airline will operate 47 weekly flights from London Heathrow, with the addition of two extra flights per week to Istanbul

London Gatwick will also see an increase from 26 to 28 weekly services, while the Manchester to Istanbul route grows from 25 to 28 per week, offering four daily connections.

In Dublin, weekly services will increase from 18 to 21 flights, providing Irish travellers with three daily flights to the Turkish capital. Scotland will also receive a boost in services, with an extra four per week.

From tomorrow, June 10thholidaymakers travelling from Birmingham will benefit from four additional weekly services.

Harun Basturk, SVP sales at Turkish Airlines, said that as demand for holidays to Türkiye continues to grow, the increased capacity will “meet this demand and offer more flexibility for travellers.”
