Travellers from the North East will now have direct access to Dalaman from Newcastle International Airport twice a week as SunExpress launches its new route for summer 2025
With return fares starting from £169.99 including 20kg checked baggage, there are diverse and flexible booking options for passengers to choose from.
A joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, SunExpress' new offering builds on its long-standing presence at Newcastle Airport, operating flights to Antalya, which will continue with five weekly flights this summer as well.
Known for its Blue Flag beaches, including the Blue Lagoon at Oludeniz, Tobias Bracht, head of sales for SunExpress, feels that Dalaman will "open up new holiday horizons for passengers from the North East”.
"The addition of Dalaman, alongside SunExpress' five weekly flights from Newcastle to Antalya, provides passengers with even more choice for great-value flights and package holidays from their local airport,” said Chris Ion, aviation development executive, Newcastle International Airport.
