A new service will operate out of East Midlands Airport in 2026, allowing travellers from the region to fly direct to Antalya for the first time with SunExpress
The service will operate three times per week, offering more departure dates for UK travellers who want to explore one of Türkiye's most popular destinations.
More routes have also been added to both London Gatwick and Manchester Airport, including a twice weekly service to Bodrum. The airline is also boosting its Irish departures to Türkiye with a new twice-weekly service from Dublin to Dalaman.
The expansion will bring the total of seats on sale from the UK & Ireland for summer 2026 up to 2.1 million: a 10% increase from 2025.
Tobias Bracht, head of sales for SunExpress, said, “We are delighted to be expanding our UK and Ireland network with the launching of services from East Midlands Airport. With direct flights to Türkiye from 14 airports next summer, we will be offering more choice, convenience and value than ever before.”
