The escorted coach tour company has unveiled six 'set-cations' which bring guests to the real locales behind series including Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Vera
On the 'Coronation Street 'Meet a Star' Experience', guests will not only step foot on the real cobbled streets used for filming week in, week out, but meet one of the Corrie cast in-person at the soap's new Visitor Centre. The three-day break, which includes a visit to Manchester's Christmas Market, leads in from £279 per person.
'Vera's Northumberland: Step into the Drama' adds a hint of murder and mystery to the lush county's coastline from £199 per person, while 'Dearest Gentle Reader: Let's Tour Bridgerton's Bath' from £249 per person invites a certified Bridgerton expert along to spotlight how the show makes the most of Bath's regal streets.
Other options in the inaugural collection include 'Behind the Scenes at Coronation Street and Emmerdale' from £279 per person, 'Discovering Darrowby: All Creatures Great and Small' from £219 per person, and 'Agatha Christie Tour: Experience the English Riviera' from £219 per person.
All itineraries are part of Shearings' Mini-Break range of three-night tours.
Head of retail sales Ashley Dellow believes the collection is "sure to attract fans keen to visit TV sets and locations... agents would do well to chat to customers about their favourite TV programmes and they could secure an easy sale!
Ashley also invited agents to reach out to request dedicated social media and marketing assets to promote the new breaks.
