Qatar Airways caters for demand with bolstered global services

The airline will increase flights to key destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East this year

The expanded services will offer passengers greater flexibility and more efficient connections, overall strengthening the airline’s network to more than 170 destinations across the globe.

For its European offering, flights will increase to Amsterdam (11 weekly), Larnaca (10 weekly), London Heathrow (56 weekly) and Madrid (17 weekly). In Africa, flights to Dar Es Salaam will increase to seven per week, 11 for Entebbe, seven to Maputo and 12 for Tunis on a weekly basis.

Over in the Middle East, bolstered connectivity will come to Damascus (14 flights per week), and Sharjah (35 weekly), while services to Tokyo will increase to 14 per week.

Thierry Antinori, chief commercial officer at Qatar Airways, said the new services “further reflect our commitment to fostering worldwide connectivity” and as the peak summer season approaches, he is “pleased to fulfil the ever-increasing demand for air travel with accessible and convenient flight schedules.”
