From November 26th, 2025, the airline will operate a flight a week to the Thai capital from Manchester Airport, marking the city's first-ever direct connection to Bangkok

Norse Atlantic's CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen said the route "has been waiting to happen, and we’re proud to be the ones making it a reality.

"Connecting the two cities is a natural next step for Norse as we continue to disrupt and expand in the long-haul space."

Return fares start from £259 on the weekly service, which departs at 11:30 pm on Wednesdays, arriving at 6 pm Bangkok time.

Manchester Airport's managing director, Chris Woodroofe, added, "Here at Manchester Airport, we’re proud to connect the North to the world. Bangkok is one of the most exciting destinations on the planet – and is rightly one of the most popular."

Earlier this year, Manchester Airport confirmed a multi-million revamp to its Terminal 3 building: the final phase of its £1.3 billion 'reimagination'.
