Norse Atlantic commits to Cape Town connectivity from London

The budget airline's Cape Town service will operate out of London Gatwick for eight months this year, with six flights a week taking flight during the service's peak months

After a successful inaugural season last year, 2025's service will begin on October 2nd, 2025 from the capital and operate until May 31st, 2026.

Bård Nordhagen, Norse Atlantic Airways' CCO, said the airline "see[s] great opportunity in the South African market... we wish to show the trade and consumer markets we are committed to the route and are here to stay."

All flights on the service will be operated aboard Norse's Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet, with tickets available to book through all major GDS.

Andrew Fish, the airline's UK head of sales, added, "We are seeing exceptional momentum on this route, and this frequency increase both customer confidence and Norse Atlantic's long-term growth strategy."

The extended Cape Town service joins Norse's other recent long-haul expansion, including a Bangkok service beginning this winter.
