Travellers can explore Malaysia’s hidden gems at no extra cost with the Bonus Side Trip programme, turning every holiday into a multi-destination adventure
Applicable for international travellers who travel through Kuala Lumpur, the BST programme offers a domestic return flight at no extra cost to selected destinations. Those locations include Langkawi, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, Alor Star, Kuala Terrengganu and Kota Bharu.
BST is fully integrated into the overall booking.
Dersenish Aresandiran, chief commercial officer of Airlines at Malaysia Aviation Group, said the Bonus Side Trip “reflects our commitment to championing Malaysia as a preferred destination in Asia.”
The initiative is part of Malaysia Airline’s broader strategy to support Visit Malaysia Year 2026 and is designed to encourage domestic exploration beyond the capital.
The airline offers twice daily flights from London Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur and additional routes to over 50 global destinations.
