Emirates increases UK services

Following the announcement of the UK-UAE air corridor, Emirates will increase services from London Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham, and Glasgow.

Heathrow's twice daily flights will become four daily A380 services, from November 27, Manchester's eight-a-week service will increase to 10 a week from December 2, and both Birmingham and Glasgow services will go from four-a-week to daily from November 27 and December 1, respectively.

The announcement of an air corridor has led to a significant increase in demand, as passengers from the UK are no longer to required to quarantine when they return home. UK travellers heading to Dubai can opt for a COVID-19 PCR test 96 hours in advance to their flight, or do the test upon arrival.

Emirates' booking policies offer customers flexibility; those who purchase an Emirates ticket for travel on or before March 31, 2021, an enjoy rebooking terms and options if they have to change their travel plans, with options to change or extend ticket validity for two years.

Emirates has also committed to cover COVID-19 related medical expenses, immediately effective for customers flying with Emirates until December 31, 2020, valid for 30 days from the moment they fly the first sector of their journey.
