Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) launches a competition for travel agents

final MaltaMalta Tourism Authority (MTA) has launched a competition for travel agents, where as many as 10 agents will win a chance to be on the first Malta Academy FAM trip to the Maltese Islands between April 7 to April 11, 2021.

To participate, travel agents will need to visit www.malta-training.com/competition where they will need to complete a Malta Academy Entry Course by February 19, 2021. Malta Tourism Authority UK office will choose winners at random. 

The 10 agents who are chosen, will get the opportunity to stay at the five-star Malta Marriott Hotel & Spa, St. Julian?s and experience the beauty of Malta and its sister island Gozo. The winners will be able to take up adventure activities, such as kayaking and scuba diving, and soak up the local culture, with some lunch and some wine tasting at a local vineyard.

The itinerary includes a visit to a local sheep farm, where agents will learn how to make Gbejna cheese and enjoy a meal created by a Maltese Michelin chef. The FAM trip will also include training sessions with Taste History, Xterra Malta and Heritage Malta, which will be spread across their time on the island; as well as a gala dinner on the last evening there, at a surprise location.
