The Maldives? Hurwalhi Island Resort is set to open this December featuring an undersea restaurant, a tropical Champagne Pavilion, stylish villas and an over 15s-only policy.
The five-star resort is located on the Lhaviyani Atoll, a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male, and will offer 90 villas including 60 ocean villas and 30 beach villas, all with king size beds and private terraces offering panoramic views.
With a strong environmental focus, Hurawalhi Island Resort uses solar panels, its own water bottling plant, energy saving solutions, hot water recovery and an in-house marine biologist.
In terms of activities, PADI instructors are on hand to provide educational guided dives and snorkelling through the nearby reefs and shipwrecks.
