Worldwide Adventures launch from Tucan

Tucan Travel has issued its Worldwide Adventures brochure for 2018/19 featuring some of its most popular itineraries, as well as useful information to help customers and agents make a booking with confidence.

The launch of the new brochure comes at the same time as the Peruvian Government release the Inca Trail Trek permits for 2018. This much-rumoured announcement is four months earlier than expected and believed to be the result of demand being much higher and permits selling out faster than ever before for the 2017 season.

Rolf Stanley, the operator's Latin America destination manager, said: ?Permits for trekking the Inca Trail Trek during peak season (between May and September) booked out within six weeks of being released to the public last year. With availability being released earlier than usual, there is a real risk that many people will be caught out and will be left empty-handed. While there are plenty of other alternatives to the Inca Trek, for those who feel it is the only way to reach Machu Picchu, it?s important that they book their trip as soon as possible.?

As an example of tour options, a 19-day Lima to Lima 'Complete Peru' itinerary leads in at ?2,379, including a 15% brochure launch discount. Highlights include an Inca Trail Trek; guided tours of Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley of the Incas & Colca Canyon; a visit to Huacachina Oasis; a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands; a day trip to Lake Titicaca; and a two-night Amazon Jungle Excursion.
