Visit Jersey unveils ?The Island Break? training game

Visit Jersey has launched a new experiential training programme called ?The Island Break?, designed to excite and engage travel agents.

The educational platform has been constructed as an interactive game that aims to assess and improve agents? knowledge of the Island guiding users through a range of training levels, each designed to represent an element of Jersey life.

Sarah Barton, head of trade for the destination marketing organisation, said: ?Visit Jersey understands the importance of the travel trade and I?m delighted to be leading on the launch of ?The Island Break?, a new tool that will help agents discover Jersey in a new, innovative way. The travel trade continues to play a vital role in driving visitors to Jersey and this exciting development will enable Visit Jersey to better connect with, and provide an engaging platform for, all travel agents.?

Agents who top the charts are in with the chance to experience ?The Island Break? first-hand, winning a place on a fam trip for themselves and a colleague.

With each new level comes a new theme, from where to stay and what to see, to the latest offers and guides. Users will make their way around the island, answering a series questions along the way.

In addition to answering the questions correctly, agents can earn bonus points by logging bookings to Jersey, or by sending it onto a colleague to increase their chances of winning.

In addition the first 500 agents to register and complete the game successfully will each be rewarded with a cinema voucher.
