p>Travel 2 has unveiled its 09/10 brochure for Africa which features new independent touring itineraries, multi-centre options and value-for-money properties.

The new brochure comes as the operator announces a 22% year on year increase in bookings to Africa, plus the programme includes an expanded South Africa section to make the most of the increased interest guaranteed for the country through its hosting of the football World Cup next summer.

Africa product manager Michael Creighton said: ?The new Travel 2 Africa brochure has everything all agents need when sourcing and booking a great long-haul holiday for their clients. We?ve introduced useful features, such as ?must do? experiences for each country, made navigating between sections much simpler with clearer signposting, and most importantly, added hotels and tours that meet the needs of travellers across the board ? be they on a budget, big spenders or families.?

For this brochure, Travel 2 has teamed up with five ?Platinum Partners? ? Sun International, Avis, Protea Hotels, Mantis Collection and Springbok Atlas tours, to access special commercial rates and offer even greater value to clients.

All will also support the trade with dedicated training, marketing initiatives and promotions throughout the next 12 months.

The operator has introduced additional affordable options, including self-catering and three-star properties.

Examples include the self-catering Waterfront Village Cape Town on the popular V&A waterfront, from ?142 per apartment per night and the new Cape Town lead-in hotel, The Ritz Hotel Cape Town from ?24pppn bed & breakfast. Alternatively, the Grande Roche five-star property in Paarl, at the heart of the winelands, is perfect for UK travellers looking for some upscale luxury from ?81pppn bed & breakfast.

In Kenya, a new lower-priced all-inclusive beach option has been added, the Papillion Lagoon Reef near Mombasa. Prices lead in at ?30pppn all-inclusive.

The popular ?Holiday Suggestions? section have been refreshed and split into six categories ? Chic Cape Town, Families, First-timers, Honeymoon, Adventure and Luxury ? and all prices are now on a flight-inclusive basis. The new Africa brochure will be landing with agents next week.
