Rocky Mountaineer has announced the addition of four new destinations to its 2019 holiday packages.

Adding to the excitement of a rail journey through Western Canada, guests can explore the new destinations by rental car, helicopter, or on foot to experience more of the Canadian Rockies.

In celebration of the new packages, the company is offering its largest promotion of the year - an early booking bonus with up to £600 in added value per couple.

The new packages include a: First Passage to the West Canmore Self-Drive; First Passage to the West Kananaskis Self-Drive; First Passage to the West Sunshine Village Self-Drive; and a ten-day Journey through the Clouds Mountain Adventures.

Deb Paulsen, the company's vice president, guest experience, said: “With these new vacation packages, our guests can combine a luxurious rail journey on board Rocky Mountaineer with outdoor activities to explore the very best Western Canada has to offer. We are excited to introduce our guests to even more of the Canadian Rockies with the addition of Canmore, Kananaskis, Sunshine Village and the Cariboo Mountains to our already incredible line up of available journeys.”

The early booking bonus promotion is available on qualifying 2019 packages of eight days or more until August 31, and guests can apply the added value offer to additional hotel nights, sightseeing tours, Alaska cruises and more. Guests looking to travel this year can take advantage of the Free Hotel offer on qualifying vacation packages of five days or more and extend their trip to spend an extra night to explore Seattle, Vancouver or Calgary. The offer is available until June 29.
