Put the Philippines in the frame for your chance to win prizes

The Philippine Department of Tourism (PDoT) will be running a celebratory London event on July 20 and 21.

The Barrio Fiesta event, meaning neighbourhood celebration, will also see a photo competition take place in which holiday prizes can be won.

In order to enter the competition, attendees can update their Facebook profile with a photo taken from the Philippines or from the London Barrio Fiesta event and "Add frame" to the shot with any of the ‘Be Part’ campaign frames from the Philippines. When updating Facebook profiles, be sure to add the hashtag #PDOTukBePartLBF and #itsmorefuninthephilippines in order to enter.

Another way to enter the competition is to add a photo using the official form found on the website: www.itsmorefuninthephilippines.co.uk/competitions

The event is taking place at Apps Court Farm, Walton-On Thames, KT12 2EG, and a free shuttle service is being provided between Hampton Court Station to Apps Court Farm.

The prizes up for grabs include: two return London-Manila tickets from Royal Brunei Airlines; two nights Puerto Princesa package accommodation for two from Sharp Travel Service (Phils.) Inc; overnight accommodation in Manila from Baron Travel; two nights from Bohol Beach Club; and three nights from Plantation Bay Resort & Spa.

A festive programme of activities has been planned for the weekend event including cultural performances, Santacruzan pageants, Palarong Pinoy (classic Filipino games and volleyball), cupcake making classes and band performances.
