Princess Cruises Vow renewal

Princess attempts to break world record for largest vow renewal at sea

Princess Cruises has announced it will attempt to set a world record for the largest number of married guests renewing their vows at sea to mark Valentine’s Day.

Next year on February 14, couples sailing onboard the 3,600-guest Regal Princess are invited to celebrate their vow renewal by taking part in this special occasion as the ship sails the Caribbean.

The ceremony will be officiated by Gavin MacLeod, who played Captain Stubing in the popular TV series ‘The Love Boat’. Jill Whelan, also from the show, will serve as a matron of honour.

Many romantic indulgences will be offered on the cruise to guests and more details will be announced in due course.

Regal Princess will sail roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale on a seven-day Western Caribbean cruise. Departing February 9, 2020 ports of call include Princess Cays (Bahamas), Ocho Rios (Jamaica), Grand Cayman (Cayman Islands) and Cozumel (Mexico), where the ceremony will take place at sea. Prices start from £649 per person with up to $250 onboard spending money available.
