Olympic champion Jazz Carlin opens waterpark at Haven’s Seashore Holiday Park

Double Olympic silver medallist Jazz Carlin has officially opened the Shore Water park at Haven’s Seashore Holiday Park.

This new facility at Seashore Holiday Park in Great Yarmouth is one of the many developments Haven has made.

The Shore Water Park offers two flumes, a multi-lane slide and a confidence water toddler pool. It has fun water features including a giant tipping bucket and an aqua play area with spray jets and slides. The waterpark also has two new 11-metre-high flumes Tidal Twist and Coastal Cyclone which are the first double constrictor slides in the UK. It also has a separate lane and activity pool for those who may want to do lane swimming. Guests can pursue activities such as Aqua Jets and Pool Kayaking as well.

Jazz Carlin on opening the pool, said: “It’s a fabulous water park with so many different things to do. Gaining confidence in water from an early age is key and the Shore Water Park has a range of different things for the whole family to have fun in the water. I didn’t want to leave!”

Haven has introduced a couple of other new developments within its food and beverage offering. The Coast House bar and grill is a new table service dining concept centred around the grill and rotisserie ovens to deliver a range of food to suit all tastes, while the Cakery serves cake as well as ice creams and coffee. Seashore also has a new indoor soft play area and outdoor play area.

Nathan Race, general manager for Haven’s Seashore Holiday Park, said: “The Shore Water Park is just one of the great developments we’ve introduced this summer which is giving our holidaymakers and holiday home owners a selection of exciting new features for them to discover during their holiday with us. It has bought a fresh look and feel to our Seashore Holiday Park and we love the way it has transformed our pool complex.”
