NCL adds new homeports for 2011/12

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its 2011/12 winter/spring deployment which includes two new seasonal homeports, including a new base in Europe, and a return to Israel for the first time since 1999.

p>Norwegian Cruise Line has announced its 2011/12 winter/spring deployment which includes two new seasonal homeports, including a new base in Europe, and a return to Israel for the first time since 1999.

The line will sail from Rome for the first time, offering 11-night Mediterranean and Holy Land cruises along with ten-night Eastern Mediterranean sailings on Norwegian Jade from October 15, 2011 to April 11, 2012.

 

The company will also offer cruises from Tampa, Florida on Norwegian Star, sailing a seven-night Western Caribbean itinerary from October 16, 2011 through to April 8, 2012.

Norwegian Epic will return to the Caribbean to sail seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises with stops in Philipsburg, St. Maarten; St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands; and Nassau, Bahamas. Meanwhile, Ocho Rios in Jamaica has been added as a port of call for Norwegian Pearl?s seven-night Western Caribbean cruise from Miami and Norwegian Dawn will offer ten- and 11-night Southern Caribbean escapes, visiting popular ports including the British Virgin Isles, St. Maarten, Antigua and Barbados.
