Manchester Airport sponsors Birmingham Pride

Manchester Airport will again play a role as one of Birmingham Pride?s key sponsors for the next three years.

As per last year?s sponsorship, the airport will brand and name the Cabaret Marquee, which will be known as Manchester Airport Cabaret Stage. Airport staff will also be in attendance over the weekend to join the parade celebrations and to shout about its 210 global routes, in particular, its new direct route to San Francisco.

As part of the sponsorship, the airport will be offering Birmingham Pride fans the opportunity to win a trip to San Francisco, which is served by Virgin Atlantic and Thomas Cook Airlines. The prize includes a ?2,000 travel voucher which can be redeemed for a holiday to San Francisco from Manchester Airport for two people, including flights and accommodation. The competition is live now on Birmingham Pride?s website and closes at midnight on June 30.

Patrick Alexander, the airport?s head of marketing, said: ?We are delighted to be working with Birmingham Pride for at least another three years and to support such a worthwhile event.

?Last year we sponsored five Prides across the UK as they are a terrific way to thank our passengers from across our extensive catchment area, plus our staff love getting involved. We have hundreds of thousands of passengers from the West Midlands and we are delighted to be back in Birmingham for the next few years showing them our gratitude and thanks. We look forward to working closely with the Birmingham Pride team again on what I am sure will be a world class event in May, and wish everyone the best of luck with our San Francisco holiday competition.?

This year?s event will take place on May 26 and 27 with tickets available now.
